San Diego Comic-Con 2022 is underway, and along with all the movie and television announcements, we’re always interested to see if there will be any Pixar product reveals. Luckily, a user (P. Richard) spotted some new Cars on the Road die-cast vehicles and playsets at the SDCC Mattel booth.
Posted to the Disney Pixar Cars Diecast Collectors group on Facebook, the new Cars on the Road playsets and characters shown at SDCC are getting us excited for the new series. These playsets mirror some of the items the Pixar Post Forum users have spotted on international toy websites and social media.

Rumored in 2019, confirmed at the 2020 Disney Investor Day, and announced in November 2021 at Disney+ Day, Cars on the Road will be Pixar’s first series produced in-house for Disney+. We are eagerly awaiting the series’ release in September 2022 – what about you?
