Home Pixar Animation Studios Back to the Toy Box – New ‘Toy Story 5’ Image Revealed

Get your first glimpse at how Pixar is embracing both nostalgia and innovation from a newly released image (via USA Today) for the upcoming June 19 theatrical release of Toy Story 5.

The new screenshot captures a moment when Toy Story fan-favorites Buzz and Woody peek out of a closet as Bonnie focuses her attention on her new Lilypad tablet (voiced by Greta Lee).

This newly released image not only highlights the return of Woody (who stayed with Bo Peep at the end of Toy Story 4) but also sets up the challenge the toys are about to face as they attempt to navigate this new, modern-day playtime with technology.
