In celebration of the Lunar New Year, a new meet-and-greet location has sprung up at Disney’s California Adventure featuring Mei and Ming Lee from Pixar’s Turning Red. The new temporary meet-and-greet is located on the pathway between Grizzly Peak and Paradise Gardens Park from January 23 through February 18, 2024.
We love that there are new Pixar characters to meet within the Disney Parks stateside. If you recall, Panda Mei debuted at Shanghai Disneyland during Color Fest in March 2023. At Disney’s California Adventure Mei is still in her human form however, her transition to Red Panda is evident with her fluffy ears and tail.

SOCIAL MEDIA REACTIONS
While the Mei and Ming Lee meet-and-greet is temporary, we hope that they will find their way to stay in the park or perhaps appear during Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort. We would also love to see the Lightfoot brothers who briefly appeared before COVID in March 2020, and perhaps a character sighting from Pixar’s Soul – now that would be incredible!
