With Luca hitting Disney+ in a matter of days, we wanted to pull together a post of the most recent, most exciting, and most fun clips, teasers, and even an international trailer to get you more excited for the June 18 release. Heck, there are even some b-roll recordings of the vocal actors recording their dialogue for the film you can enjoy below.
First, get warmed up with this 15-second clip which was posted to Pixar’s YouTube page a few days ago — it will have you shouting Luca, Luca, Luca!
Next, follow up with this amazing international trailer from Japan which touches on some of the myths of sea monsters and the passion which Luca has to view the world above the waterline (from the Disney+ Japan YouTube page).
There are also two extended clips from Entertainment Tonight (ET) and an ABC News affiliate in Chicago, Illinois that offer clips from some of our favorite moments from the film. The clip from ET highlights the moment Alberto and Luca meet the town bully, Ercole (you’ll have to watch that clip directly on the ET site as it is not able to be embedded).
The second clip from ABC Chicago is a moment when Giulia puts Alberto and Luca to the test to see if they’re good enough to race with her in the Portorosso Cup. The race is an Italian-style triathlon which combines, swimming, biking, and…eating pasta (instead of the more common, running)! These are some of Giulia’s most hilarious moments and just look at how amazing the animation and acting are — wow!
We had previously posted about how the vocal actors had to record many (if not all) of their lines from their homes due to the pandemic restrictions.
