"Express Yourself…Sing, Write, Draw" Pete Docter’s Inspirational BAFTA Acceptance Speech

At the 2016 BAFTA awards, Pete Docter delivered an inspiring speech while accepting the award for Inside Out – read it here.

The 2016 BAFTA Awards (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) took place last night in Central London and Pixar Animation Studios was honored in two categories – Best Original Screenplay and Best Animated Feature.

The studio was awarded the win for Best Animated Feature with director Pete Docter taking the stage and sharing some inspirational advice during his acceptance speech, “It’s okay to feel scared or angry or sad but please do us a favor and express yourself…sing, write, draw — the world will be a better place for it.”
