Today, the Visual Effects Society has announced the nominees for the 14th Annual VES Awards with Pixar Animation Studios receiving a total of 8 nominations across four categories, for both The Good Dinosaur and Inside Out.

The Visual Effects Society (VES) is the entertainment industry’s only organization representing the full breadth of visual effects practitioners including artists, technologists, model makers, educators, studio leaders, and producers in all areas of entertainment from film, television, commercials, and games.
In past award ceremonies, Pixar has been awarded their nominated category (such as in 2012 when Brave won all four nominated awards), however, this is the first year that two Pixar films are nominated within the same categories. Below is a list of all of the animation-related categories with the Pixar nominations highlighted in red.
