Suuuuuuch a wonderful episode, you two! A great job again. You had me cracking up about the RC story, because I've been there before where I passed up a toy and then never saw it again. Also, I just found out that I will be at the D23 Expo this year, so I would be glad to supply information on John's presentation and the footage shown!
LOVED the whole things guys! You're a blast to listen to. Love hearing the facts and speculation. It was cool hearing you talk about merch you want to see come out…great idea with the Partysaurus Rex bath toys. You know I'd get them! My top 2 right now I want to see are Scare Cards (I know some came out in Disney but they're super limited) and an official blue umbrella (totally jealous of yours from Pixar!). Also speaking of Easter eggs, I haven't heard any mention of this, did you notice the scuba diver from Partysaurus Rex as one of the toys on the floor in the the simulator room? I'm pretty sure that was him…let me know what you think! : )
Hey TJ and Julie!! Another great episode! I love your eye for detail in finding all of these hidden items in both The Blue Umbrella and Monsters University. I've seen most of the MU ones, but need to especially rewatch The Blue Umbrella for those! And I have to say, once again, I'm totally in agreement with Julie regarding food – bacon is one of the best!! 🙂 I'd recommend trying chocolate covered bacon, it's awesome! Finally, I too want to say a huge \”thanks\” to Steve for his comment on episode 15! WOW!! I've thought of a few good adjectives to describe Pixar history, and \”riveting\” has never been one I'd expect anyone but myself to use!! 🙂 I'm so glad he enjoyed it. Here's hoping we do another!
Hey Dan – Thank you as always! We certainly don't know for sure…but stay tuned on the Scare Cards…Dan Scanlon tweeted not too long ago to \”be patient\” to someone who asked him why they can't buy them at stores! We'd love if these came out as well. I actually don't know about the scuba diver either…but it wouldn't surprise me if it were. We're going to see the movie again this weekend and we'll keep an eye out for it.
Hey Giovanni – Yeah, I think everyone has that story where they walked away from a product…only to find it's out of stock when they come back! Also – wow, how great that you'll be going to D23 this year. Thank you for the offer…yes, we'd love to have you fill us in on some of the details of the event! That's fantastic – thanks! – T.J.
Hey Jeff! Thanks as always! Yeah, we love to watch for those little things…to us, that's what makes all the difference. But we know you feel the same way!Ha – somehow I knew that a bacon comment would find it's way here! I can tell you that she's never had chocolate covered bacon – but she'd try it for sure!Yeah, Steve's comments were fantastic and we really appreciated it. It really was a testament to the hard work and time we put into the podcast and we really appreciated your input, comments and time you spent on the research! We will ABSOLUTELY be doing another podcast together – it's obviously that people are \”riveted\” by the history discussion, so I think it's necessary to continue them! 🙂
Hey TJ and Julie! I'm a new listener here but I have to say I'm really enjoying it. You both are so fun and energetic and your passion shows. Keep it up guys!
Hey Tom – thank you very, very much and welcome to the podcast! Be sure to let us know if there are any thoughts, comments or feedback moving forward – we always love the input of our readers and listeners so we can continually tweak things and improve! Oh, and feel free to rate the podcast and leave a comment on iTunes as well! :)Thanks again!-T.J.
