‘Toy Story 4’ Vocal Cast Updates: Patricia Arquette & Keanu Reeves Offer High-Level Hints

Patricia Arquette recently danced around a recent Golden Globes interview asking if she voiced a character in Toy Story 4.

With the release of Toy Story 4 approximately six months away (June 21, 2019), actors involved with the project will continue to offer new hints regarding their characters as well as their involvement with the project altogether.

A long-rumored vocal actor to the project (Since November 2015 via TheWrap), Patricia Arquette is said to play a laid-back, hippie mother in the film. Finally putting the rumor aside, Patricia danced around the Entertainment Tonight question during the 2019 Golden Globes (spotted by Toy Story Fangirl), asking her directly if she voiced a character in Toy Story 4. Patricia noted that she wasn’t sure if she was able to say, but her reactions spoke louder than her words — we’ll take that as an affirmation of her involvement (albeit we believe it will be a smaller role). Check out the video directly on ET’s site.

Keanu Reeves was likewise a recent guest on the daytime talk show, The Talk, and offered a few additional insights regarding the vocal process for his character. You won’t find him spilling any specific details regarding his pint-sized character, but you will hear him briefly discuss how he felt that his character was possibly taking too much of the spotlight from Buzz Lightyear and how he worked to dial him back a bit. (Update – The video has since been removed by The Talk.)
