Although a few quick looks at Bo Peep’s new design from Toy Story 4 have popped up on store displays and products, the latest toolkit animation (along with an updated character poster) released by Pixar today is our first look at Bo in animated form.
She is definitely more agile and we’re thrilled to see her burst onto the scene with her vibrant personality — now, it’s just a matter of seeing how much her personality has grown. According to EW, Woody takes an unexpected detour (during a road trip with Bonnie and her family) and finds himself face to face with Bo for the first time in years. “Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley said in a statement. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.”
Check out the toolkit animation teaser on our Pixar Post YouTube channel (embedded below) or from the official Toy Story Twitter page where the animation was first shared.
This teaser would also make us think that the upcoming trailer for Toy Story 4 will give us additional looks at Bo Peep in her true form. The trailer has been rated (as pointed out in our earlier post), but now we can only guess when it will be launched. Some have speculated that it was rated earlier than normal because it may be aired during the Super Bowl. Either way, we know it’s soon, so get ready and stay tuned.
