Nominations for the BAFTAs (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) were released today with the Incredibles 2 team honored for Best Animated Film. The BAFTA Awards are held in Central London (February 10, 2019) and considered to be the British version of the Academy Awards.

Mirroring the Academy Awards, the Best Animated Film category was a late addition to the award show with the BAFTAs inclusion in 2006 (the Academy Awards back in 2002), with Pixar Animation Studios nominated in the category a total of 11 times. The studio has been honored with the coveted Best Animated Film trophy six times for the films, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Up, Toy Story 3, Brave, and Coco.
