Coco is the story of a multi-generational family separated between the land of the living and the land of the dead. This newly released theatrical poster showcases how music may divide the family, but ultimately it will bring the family together.
Flanked on the land of the living side sit Miguel, Dante, and Mama Coco (clutching her childhood photo). Situated on the Land of the Dead side are Hector, Ernesto de la Cruz, and Mamá Imelda.
What makes Coco such a meaningful film is the celebration of family, which is highlighted between both worlds as fireworks and jovial characters spill into the streets.
If you look closely, up in the sky in the Land of the Dead, you’ll notice Pepita, Mamá Imelda’s fiercely loyal spirit guide, who is sure to play a significant role in the film.
In addition to the new poster, it was revealed today that a brand new Coco trailer will be released tomorrow, September 13 at 9 AM PST. Be sure to join us for a live YouTube discussion on the new footage tomorrow night (see details below).
