Pixar’s upcoming short film featuring the self-titled character, Lou, is officially out of his box — at least that’s what Director, Dave Mullins noted on Instagram leading up to today’s premiere at the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. Along with the film’s premiere, Entertainment Weekly also revealed the poster featuring Lou aptly hidden amongst a pile of lost-and-found items since he is comprised of misplaced items himself.
The storyline surrounding Lou features a bully named J.J., who seems to have Sid-like qualities as he snatches toys and tosses them aside. It is then that Lou decides to create a bit of playful high jinks to teach this bully a lesson. We can’t wait to hear from attendees to gather their thoughts on the film — let us know if you were in attendance by leaving a comment below.
