About a month ago, it was announced that Pixarian Josh Cooley would take the directing reins alongside John Lasseter and co-direct the upcoming Toy Story 4 film (set for a 2017 release). In addition, it was also revealed that Cooley had just finished directing a short film for the studio – which takes place inside the world of Inside Out and will appear as a bonus feature on the Blu-ray release. As of today, we now have what appears to be the title of the Inside Out short, Riley’s First Date – potentially directed by Cooley.
At this time, we cannot confirm if Riley’s First Date will be on the Inside Out Blu-ray release or potentially in front of an upcoming Disney theatrical release – similar to the release of the Monsters University short, Party Central which was shown ahead of Muppets Most Wanted.
