‘The Good Dinosaur’ Gets An Updated Logo

A press release promoting the 2015 lineup of Disney-produced and distributed films was just released and included among the 15 films highlighted was Pixar’s upcoming prehistoric flick, The Good Dinosaur. Along with the previously released concept artwork, the press release also included an updated logo for the film. Although this update isn’t a drastic change from the previous version, we prefer it more for its cleaner lines and more simplistic look.

We would also anticipate that this would be the final logo for the film as we’re within 12 months of the November 25, 2015 release date. The previous logos displayed a series of changes — the first being revealed as The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs at the 2012 CinemaCon, to the more familiar look of the logo released in February 2013. In the two previous logos, we saw the included silhouette of Arlo, the film’s main dinosaur (an apatosaurus), but this new version nixes the dino. What are your thoughts – let us know which version do you prefer in the comments below or on The Good Dinosaur Pixar Post Forum.
