In August of 2012, it was revealed that a small set of Star Wars-inspired Cars die-cast characters would be released (read our original post here, including many photos). Today, the Disney Parks Blog provided a sneak peek of some of the Star Wars weekends merchandise (starting May 17, 2013, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios) and released an official photo of the die-cast Cars characters.
Fans of Cars and Star Wars are sure to love these new toys – I know I’m excited to see, Guido (as R2-D2), Luigi (as C-3PO), The Tractors (as Stormtroopers), Mater (as Darth Vader/Mater), Lightning McQueen (as Luke), Fillmore (as Yoda) and Sally (as Princess Leia).
