If you’ve been following our blog, you know we are gigantic fans of the amazing short, Partysaurus Rex (directed by the brilliant Mark Walsh). We’re ecstatic to announce that the song Partysaurus Overflow by BT and Au5 has been released and you can now dance like crazy to this amazing electronic/dance track that was created as an interpretation of the music from the hilarious short.
In true BT fashion, the 5:36 song does not disappoint and starts out with a great “building” intro that kicks into driving dance beats that you can’t help but want to move to (and imagine him performing live). The song also incorporates audio clips from the short itself, including –
- “What up fishes!” (as spoken by the director, Mark Walsh)
- “Yeah, Baby” as spoken by Chuck E. Duck (Tony Cox)
- “All hail, the Partysaurus Rex” by Chuck E. Duck
- “We’re going over the top baby” by Chuck E. Duck
The sound quality is what you would expect from a BT track – the depth is amazing from the highs to the lows. I listened to the track through my headphones, car speakers as well as computer speakers and I must say that if you want a great workout track, this song is perfect – the lows really stand out with great headphones and are amazing as the mix bounces between the left and right channels!

i like original version much more then this modified one :/ why they always rework original soundtracks? and yeah, since when Au5 is responsible for Partysaurus rex ost? -.-
Hey Ivan, Thank you for the comment. I think they chose to modify the original soundtrack because it wouldn't have been long enough for a release…and probably would have seemed choppy to the listener. I think you're comment about the song being modified is also where Au5 comes in – I'm not 100% sure, but I'm assuming he was involved in the remix of the song (not the original, since we know that was BT by himself). It will be interesting to see what others say as well to see how the track is received. Thanks again for the feedback!
yeah, it seems you have right. thanks a lot for the answer :)) Cheers!
