As we inch closer to Elio‘s June 13 theatrical release date, we are starting to learn more about this space-age adventure through visuals with a new International poster and screencaps.
Below is one of the first Elio International theatrical posters released via Disney Studios LA on X. The poster reflects Elio standing triumphantly on a rooftop in a hero’s pose with his cape flowing in the wind. What we love about this poster is the feeling that “adventure awaits.” With the sunset on the horizon and the stars beginning to shine above, you get the sense that you’re about to have the adventure of a lifetime.

NEW SCREENCAPS
Thanks to our Pixar Post Forum user PixarPug, who shared the latest screencaps featuring Elio and Glordon, a slug-like alien voiced by Remy Edgerly. In the first image, you’ll notice the interstellar duo riding through space on a spherical disc-like object (this moment can also be seen in the latest Elio trailer).
The second screencap showcases a moment when Elio appears elated to see the alien-like world that he has wanted to see for so long. In both screencaps, just as in the poster, you feel the joy of adventure in the character Elio. What we can’t wait to see is what obstacles lie around the corner, waiting for Elio to overcome.
