This highly anticipated series was first announced during the 2020 Disney Investor day and was initially set to be released in Fall 2023. However, it was delayed to 2024, with Director Carrie Hobson noting via X, “We have finished the show and can’t wait to share it with y’all! Will share our new release date very sooooon.”

During the 2024 D23 Expo, Chief Creative Officer, Pete Docter announced the release date would be December 6, 2024; however, that release date was shifted once more to the now-set date of February 19, 2025.

CONCEPT ART

During one of our recent visits to Pixar Animation Studios, we were not only able to screen the first episode of Win or Lose, but we were also able to view numerous pieces of concept art from the series.

As you scroll through the gallery be sure to enlarge each image to really study the art. We absolutely love the artwork and styling brought by Lou Hamou-Lhadj and Noah Klocek in the pieces titled “Bleacher Creatures” and “Frank”. It was also a treasure to see that the late Ralph Eggleston had a hand in creating a piece for this project, as shown in “Softball Field” below.
