“Carl’s Date” from Dug Days Soundtrack Now Available

Listen to the full Dug Days “Carl’s Date” soundtrack by Andrea Datzman from the Up-inspired short film now.

Get ready for a new adventure with Carl and Dug from Up. The soundtrack for the forthcoming episode titled Carl’s Date is now available on streaming platforms everywhere.

UPDATED: It appears that the soundtrack has been removed from platforms. We’ll update the post when it’s available once again.

Much like the original batch of Dug Days music, Andrea Datzman returns to score the short. The soundtrack is full more even more light-yet-heartfelt songs, as we’ve come to expect from Carl and Dug’s adventures.

The song “Pitching Woo” is the standout track, in our opinion. It is the perfect balance of adventure and nervousness — and pulls in all the classic bouncy cartoon elements we adore, too.

EPISODE RELEASE DATE

Of course, we can’t avoid talking about the elephant in the room – the Carl’s Date episode was also supposed to have been released today (February 10, 2023), too. For now, at least, we’ll have to wait for the episode to premiere on Disney+, but in the meantime, we can listen to Andrea’s fantastic score.

We can also glean from the length of the soundtrack that the episode will probably be approximately five-and-a-half minutes long. The intro and credits will probably add another minute and a half to that time.
