‘Dug Days’ Streaming Now – Watch our Filmmaker Interview and Honoring Ed Asner’s Legacy

Do yourself a favor and be sure to check out the five-episode series, Dug Daysstreaming now on Disney+. In addition to watching the hilarious short films, this is also a wonderful opportunity to honor the legacy of Ed Asner (the voice of Carl) in what may be his final vocal role.

As announced on his official Twitter account, Mr. Asner passed away on August 29, 2021. He left behind a wonderful legacy of film and television work and among those projects, he also brought the grumpy and heartfelt character of Carl from Up to life.

We discussed in our Dug Days review post how Carl’s character rig was updated with a new spry nature and Ed’s vocal work matched Carl’s newfound zeal for life.
