Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been undergoing quite the transformation as Imagineers are busy working on the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction, as well as creating the land of Star Wars: Galaxy Edge. The latest expansion, Toy Story Land has been a popular guest destination with its incredible attractions and superb theming. Well, Disney Parks Blog just announced that Toy Story Land will open a new Roundup Rodeo BBQ-themed table-service restaurant that continues the storyline of Andy’s backyard.
Guests will still feel as if they have shrunk to the size of a toy as they enter a new rodeo arena made by Andy, using three cardboard boxes taped together. While the restaurant has a western theme, Andy’s broad assortment of toys makes for a fun and colorful mashup of fun that only a child could create. Disney Parks Blog also notes that several Pixar characters will be scattered throughout the restaurant in the form of toys and game pieces including a toy version of Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull-toy and unique toy versions of Bo Peep and her sheep, all who appear to be performing in the rodeo together.
There has yet to be an official name or opening date for the new restaurant, so stay tuned for additional details as they become available. In the meantime, guests searching for a bit of a BBQ flavor while at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, be sure to visit Woody’s Lunch Box a quick-service restaurant that offers many delicious menu items.
