Pixar Animation Studios may have the Pixar Classic — a putt-putt tournament designed by employees — but now fans outside of the Studio (in fact, outside of the United States) will have the opportunity to play on a professionally-designed Pixar-themed miniature golf course called, Pixar Putt.

Located in Melbourne, Australia (River Terrace, Federation Square), the pop-up (9-or-18 hole) outdoor course will kick off on January 4, 2019 and feature holes themed after Toy StoryThe IncrediblesFinding NemoA Bug’s LifeRatatouilleMonsters, Inc.Wall-EInside OutCocoThe Good Dinosaur and more.

We cannot wait to see what the themed holes will look like — be sure to stay tuned and we’ll be sure to share information as more details emerge. The Pixar Putt website doesn’t offer too many details yet, but they do note that there will be photo opportunities with Woody and Buzz statues along the course — and there will be exclusive Pixar Putt merchandise for sale as well.

We’re not sure how long the event will run since it’s listed as a “pop-up” course (implying it may move to a new location in the future), but currently you can only pre-book tickets through February 3, 2019.

This sounds absolutely incredible and a load of fun — if you’re planning on going for opening day (January 4, 2019), please let us know and we’d love to share your thoughts on the course and merchandise.
