Pixar Receives Four Nominations For The 44th Annual Annie Awards

Pixar Animation Studios receives four Annie Award nominations for both Piper and Finding Dory.

The nominations for the 44th Annual Annie Awards have just been released with Pixar Animation Studios receiving 4 well-deserved nominations. The Annie Awards are presented to those who excel in the animation field and are voted upon by professionals of ASIFA Hollywood (International Animated Film Association).

If you recall, Pixar Animation Studios received 25 nominations at last years’ 43rd Annie Awards (winning 11 awards) with Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, and Sanjay’s Super Team being honored. This year with only one feature film released in 2016, Pixar received three nominations for Finding Dory and one nomination for Piper.
