Among the other praised artists, the article notes that Adrian was so inspired by Director, Lee Unkrich’s project that he pitched additional ideas and thoughts. Lee stated, “The more we talked, the more we realized our thoughts of how the story should be told were totally in sync.” The rest is, as they say, history and Unkrich named Molina co-director of the film.

Adrian was also quoted as saying that he found his love of storyboarding while in school, “My interests and my skill set lent themselves to storyboarding,” says Molina. “I enjoyed the design challenge and acting opportunity in animation, but I don’t think I excelled at it.”
