Announcing Our New Logos

With the launch of our new podcast a few weeks back and with the one-year anniversary of Pixar Post just around the corner (March 21), we wanted to freshen things up a bit and create a new logo. Here are our descriptions of our logos:

  • The first logo (left) is used for our header on our homepage and for our Facebook page.
  • The second logo (middle) is used on sites where we cannot display our full graphic with our name – for instance on Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, and Vine.
  • The third logo (right) is extremely exciting for us as this variant will be used with our Podcast – we absolutely love this version – it’s so much fun!

We cannot take full credit for the beautiful new logos – our refresh was created by professional graphic designer (and all-around great guy), Greg Gosline. If that name sounds familiar to our readers, it should – we recently conducted an interview with Greg after he won the Threadless Toy Story t-shirt contest.

As Julie and I started discussing the logo redesign, Julie suggested that we should ask Greg since we know he’s a graphic designer, since we like his work and because he loves Pixar too. As soon as we began talking to Greg about the redesign we knew he was the right choice – we contracted him to start as soon as he could and he created our logos to look better than we could have ever imagined they could have. Thank you again Greg and if anyone would like to have Greg help with their design needs, just send us an email and we’ll gladly get you in touch.
