Updated Gatto Logo Revealed via Trademark Submission

A refreshed logo for Pixar’s March 5, 2027 release, Gatto, was revealed in a recent Trademark submission highlighting a refreshed look.

In a recent Trademark submission (Jan 23) with the US Patent and Trademark Office, an updated Gatto logo was revealed.

The original logo, first revealed at the Destination D23 event (Aug 2025), featured a stylized “O” with whiskers and ears drawn on. The updated logo features a sketched silhouette of the main character Nero perched atop the “O” with bolder lettering.

We really like the updated logo, but will this be the final logo for the film? Time will tell.

UPDATED GATTO RELEASE DATE

Along with the updated logo reveal, last month the release date of Gatto was also changed. The film’s release date was originally June 18, 2027 and has now moved up to March 5, 2027.

Many have speculated (and it makes perfect sense) that this was a move to avoid an already crowded June release slate. The movies planned for a June 2027 release date (in the similar animation/family/adventure genre) are How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Live action), Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, and Shrek 5.
