When thinking of Pixar’s 2009 release, Up, you can’t help but think of the iconic characters, Carl, Ellie, Russell, Dug, and maybe Kevin. Well, in the new 5-episode series, Dug Days, streaming on Disney+ (official date to be announced) you’ll be able to revisit the adventures of Carl, Dug, and even Russell.

In support of the series, Ed Asner (the voice of Carl), is hosting a special live event on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET through his foundation, The Ed Asner Family Center. Get your tickets now as they are limited and close on August 18, 2021, at 11:59 PM PT.

According to the website, The Ed Asner Family Center is a one-stop-shop for neurodivergent individuals and their families seeking wholeness in all attitudes of life. Since supporting families in need is such a passion for Ed’s organization, they have arranged a special event to win prizes, chat with filmmakers, and screen the episodes early — all while supporting a great cause.

HOW TO WATCH & WIN PRIZES

You have several ways to participate in the event. You can choose between three levels of packages (Platinum Pixar, Diamond Disney, or Sapphire Screening).

Each of the packages comes with a varied level of prizes, but they all grant you access to the VIP Exclusive First-Look Screening of Dug Days and a Q&A session with Ed Asner, Bob Peterson (writer/director), and Kim Collins (producer).

Each package comes with a different number of sweepstakes tickets, but, if you’re not able to make the screening, you can choose to purchase tickets to just the sweepstakes which have some amazing prizes.

The best of the bunch (in our opinion) is a signed Dug maquette from 2005 (of which there were only 13 cast in resin from Greg Dykstra’s original clay sculpt for the film’s production). There are two of these included in the sweepstakes along with signed Funko Pop’s, Art of Up books, and much more.

Get your tickets by August 18 at 11:59 PM PT, or before they sell out.
