Monsters at Work Review Episodes 1 and 2

‘Monsters at Work’ Premiere Episodes 1&2 Recap – Our Live Review

Join us as we offer our review of episodes 1 and 2 of Monsters at Work, the new Monsters Inc series on Disney+

Mike and Sulley are back along with other familiar faces and a whole new batch of friends in the exclusive Disney+ series, Monsters at Work. Tylor Tuskmon is the new lead character and we follow his journey as the scare floor becomes the laugh floor…overnight.

Waternoose is out as the CEO of Monsters, Incorporated and Mike and Sulley are in. The story has great a captivating setup, the writing has a lot of snappy humor, and it’s great to see Mike and Sulley succeeding after so many years of hard work.

Contrasting against our prior comments, you can definitely tell that this series is not produced by Pixar. Having watched many of the Disney Television Animation series, it mirrors the animation style which is common to those other projects where the animation is not as polished. Additionally, the audio mix seems off at times and is missing some elements.

Pixar was involved as creative consultants at the beginning, but their involvement has been limited since then.

We’ll be sharing our live review and breakdown of the first two episodes (Monsters, Incorporated and Meet MIFT) during our YouTube Live discussion on July 7 at 10:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM PT. You can watch our review video (whether live or as a replay) on our YouTube channel or embedded below.

Be sure to stay tuned as our plan will be to break down and discuss each episode of Monsters at Work after they air on Wednesday.

YOUR THOUGHTS
