To mark the 35th anniversary of Pixar Animation Studios, Hong Kong’s Harbour City shopping centre is holding its own ‘Pixar Fest’ in celebration of the famed studio. Not only will you find numerous interactive activities (both inside and outside), but guests can take also take their own photos in front of a 17ft tall Luxo Lamp and ball — which appear to be the exact size of the one in the courtyard at Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, CA.
There are a total of 12 Pixar films on display with experiences found throughout the mall, including augmented reality (AR), photo check-points, and embossing stations, as well as some fantastic Pixar-themed merchandise. The event opens on June 30 and runs until August 15, 2021.
