Pixar’s First Original Series ‘Win or Lose’ Coming to Disney+ Fall 2023

Pixar announced a new long-form original series titled, Win or Lose coming to Disney+ Fall 2023.

During the Disney Investor Day call last week, several Pixar projects were announced including two new feature films, Turning Red and Lightyear. In addition to that exciting news, Pixar also announced that they are currently working on their first original animated series called, Win or Lose coming to Disney+ Fall 2023.

Win or Lose will be a long-form series that will follow the story of a coed middle school softball team during the week leading up to a big championship game. Each 20-minute episode will feature a perspective of a different character during the same week. This creative concept is the brainchild of two Pixar story artists Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, who would often feel completely different emotions from attending the exact same meetings. The duo will also be writing and directing the series with David Lally stepping in as the producer.

“It’s not so much about softball as it is a comedy about love, rivalry, and the challenges we all face in our struggles to win at life.”
