This morning, everyone in the arts and entertainment industry were jittery with excitement as the nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards were announced. The Livestream of the nominations was held approximately at 5:00 am PST with Pixar Animation Studios being honored in three different categories – Toy Story 4: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song, Kitbull: Best Animated Short.
Not only were we thrilled to see Toy Story 4 honored with two nominations, but having one Pixar’s first SparkShort films nominated with an Academy Award is so exciting — especially, in a hand-drawn 2-D medium.
