Announced at a Disney Investor Day Presentation on April 11, Disney unveiled some great new content coming to Disney+ and even included some great Pixar news. (Updated to note that the service is slated to launch on November 12, 2019, at $6.99 per month.)
First, a short film titled Lamp Life, Starring Bo Peep will air, and a series of 10 shorts titled Forky Asks a Question will also be included. Along with the great news of the original shorts, Disney also clarified that the entire Pixar catalog of full-length movies (within one year of launching) and short films (on day one of the service) would be available for streaming on the Disney+ service (and available to download for offline viewing).
(It should be noted that Forky Asks A Question was noted to be available on launch day, while Lamp Life‘s release date wasn’t specified.)

During the presentation, Bob Iger shared a screenshot on his Twitter page (above photo) of the Disney+ service running on a Smart TV — it looks really nice how the films are slotted out into each of the respective Disney brands.
Launching at $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year (with no advertisements) on November 12, 2019 (with a full worldwide release over two years), and will have fully-customizable individual profiles for each family member (Bob Iger noted November 12 during the Q&A portion of the investor call). Although the main page is set up to be a splash page at this point, you can sign up for additional updates on the official Disney+ site.

Additionally, a making-of documentary series about Frozen 2 will also be available and a live-action version of Lady and The Tramp will also be available at launch. Complete details can be found on the Walt Disney Company’s site.
