Several months ago, toy manufacturer, Jakks Pacific announced that they would be producing the upcoming line of Incredibles 2 toys (as well as taking on the legacy lines from Hasbro). Today, TOMY International added to the excitement by announcing they would produce an Incredibles-themed group of toys (from both films) under their Lamaze line. The official press release is below.

TOMY International introduces its all-new line of Lamaze developmental infant toys featuring characters from Disney•Pixar’s sought-after Incredibles films, marking the first time since The Incredibles property first appeared in its 2004 theatrical debut that the beloved characters will be available in infant toys.

With Incredibles 2 slated for release in summer 2018, TOMY’s Lamaze brand plans to introduce a full line of toys, all created in conjunction with child development experts, including teethers, Clip & Go’s, a playmat, and shape sorter. Product from TOMY’s Lamaze Incredibles line will hit stores in spring 2018.

“We are thrilled to bring the widely-recognized and sought-after Incredibles characters into our award-winning Lamaze toy brand,” said Peter Henseler, President of TOMY International. “The rich storylines and robust creative and visual content that Pixar is known for gives us so much to build this toy line upon. We are honored to have the opportunity to develop the characters and themes from this successful franchise into engaging, developmental infant toys.”

TOMY’s Lamaze Incredibles toys will bring the beloved characters to life in infant toys designed to spark daily discoveries and encourage developmental milestones. Incredibles 2, directed by Academy Award®-winner Brad Bird, brings audiences back together with their favorite superhero family. With voices from Samuel L. Jackson, Holly Hunter, and Craig T. Nelson, Incredibles 2 is slated for release in June 2018.
