Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the teaser trailer for Incredibles 2Â is the “most-viewed animated movie trailer ever”.
At the time the article was written, across all channels showing the teaser, it garnered 113 Million views (this also makes it the 7th most popular trailer across all film genres). Wow, that is truly incredible (after only launching on November 18)!
We don’t talk about our post statistics often, but we will note that after looking closely at our numbers, the average post about Incredibles 2Â has a 25-30% lift in unique hits over other similar posts (about trailer announcements, composer reveals, etcetera).
This clearly demonstrates the excitement surrounding the film and people’s general interest to view Helen, Bob, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack (along with the rest of the gang like Frozone) back on the big screen.
With a new villain creating chaos in their town, we can be sure the Incredible’s family will have external issues to tackle, but also their internal battles to face as well. Audiences are demonstrating that they’re ready to see more from their favorite animated superhero family — and we are too!
