On April 26th, 2012, The Road to Pixar crew made their way up the California coast, all the way to Pixar Animation Studios in their life-size Pizza Planet truck. Shortly after their journey, Colin Hesterly (one of the members of The Road to Pixar crew), released this amazing print of the Pizza Planet truck. We couldn’t resist this limited edition giclee since we love the pizza planet truck and because we followed the Road to Pixar’s journey as they traveled all the way to the Pixar Animation Studio.
We chose to double-mat the print with a red/raisin-colored mat to bring out the warm red/brown tones along the bottom of the print and chose an accent mat in yellow-orange to highlight the pizza planet truck. In addition to our other prints, we chose to use museum-grade glass to reduce glare as well as protect the print further from UV damage.
This print is a beautiful addition to our other Pixar artwork from Tom Whalen, Dave Perillo, Michael DePippo, and other various artists. Thank you, Collin, and The Road to Pixar crew!
The limited edition print measures 12″ x 24″ and is a limited edition of 25. If you would like to order one of these beautiful giclee prints, please visit Colin’s site (UPDATED: The print is no longer for sale, the link has been removed).
