Fans of LEGO and Pixar should suit up because worlds (or bricks) are colliding as the official LEGO The Incredibles has been announced. Proving that a team of “Supers” is stronger than one individual, the game is focused on combining the powers of the Parr family to defeat villains (but, it sounds like you’ll also be able to play as more than just the Parr family).
According to Insider, TT Games executive producer, Nick Ricks, has been working with Pixar since 2016 to get every detail just right. “It has been our first-time collaboration with Disney-Pixar and this has had a profound effect on how we’ve created our story, cut-scenes, and characters,” said Ricks.
“This collaboration certainly comes through strongly with the innovations we’ve made in the characters’ designs and abilities, along with ensuring the dialogue, scene selection, and camera work are some of the best that I’ve ever seen. On top of this, we have a massive open-world hub, filled with crime lords that must be cleaned up, all-new ways to build immense Lego structures and focus on the Parr family’s collaborative crime-fighting results.” (Check out the rest of Nick’s interview at Insider.)
