Pixar’s second 22-minute television special, Toy Story That Time Forgot, premiered on December 2, 2014, and featured our favorite friends from the Toy Story gang – along with a slew of new characters.
Retailers quickly stocked their shelves with Battlesaur action figures and the popular Angel Kitty plush, however, news regarding a Blu-ray or digital release for the U.S. had yet to be confirmed – until now. The website IGN states that Toy Story That Time Forgot will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and HD Digital on November 3 (the same date as Inside Out).
UPDATED: Read our review of the Blu-ray here and then listen to our interview with Director, Steve Purcell.
The release will be packed with loads of extras including commentary by director Steve Purcell, a sneak peek into the origins of the Battlesaurs world (perhaps, we’ll learn more about the glowing Battlesaur emblem on Reptillus that was hit during the battle with Buzz and Woody) and so much more!
