Disney’s bi-annual D23 Expo will be held this upcoming August (14-16) at the Anaheim Convention Center and just as in years past – is already creating a buzz with the newly announced sessions. Fans attending this year’s expo will be treated to numerous panel discussions with special guest appearances as well as experience exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming films. As the D23 Expo continues to grow with popularity Disney has created “Hall D23”, a new 7,500 seat venue located in Hall D (of the convention center) to allow more fans to view the presentations live and in person.
While the full D23 Expo schedule has yet to be released, a few details surrounding some of the presentations have been announced. Kicking off the event on Friday (August 14), fans will have the opportunity to view a sneak peek of Finding Dory. During the 2013 D23 Expo, Finding Dory, director Andrew Stanton and producer Lindsey Collins were on-hand to announce a few details regarding the film. While the majority of the announcement focused on the vocal cast, a small storyline teaser was shared and fans have been counting down to the June 17, 2016, theatrical release of Finding Dory.
