For those who have taken a spin on Toy Story Midway Mania! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Walt Disney World Resort), you know the popularity of this attraction. Since the opening on May 31, 2008 crowds have swarmed the ride from rope-drop to Extra Magic Hours – with wait times often exceeding 90 minutes. Disney Parks Blog recently released a quick statement sharing that there are plans in place to add an additional track at Toy Story Midway Mania!
The release did not elaborate if the expansion means a longer ride experience or if additional video screens/ride vehicles will be added to help alleviate long wait times – but our guess would be that it will alleviate the long wait times.
While the timeline for completion was also not revealed we can hope to hear additional details within the year.
