The 49TH Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards were held last night, Saturday, February 16TH in Los Angeles, CA at The Millennium Biltmore Hotel.

The Cinema Audio Society (CAS) was formed in 1964 for the purpose of sharing information with Sound Professionals in the Motion Picture and Television Industry. In addition, each year the CAS hosts its Awards Banquet to bestow the CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing in both Feature Films and Televisions, as well as to honor Academy Award Nominees and Emmy Awards Winners for Best Sound.
