Could Taylor Swift Have a ‘Toy Story 5’ Connection

Taylor Swift’s website featured a countdown clock hinting at a May 2 announcement related to Toy Story 5, leading fans to speculate on her possible involvement, either through music or voice acting.

If you know anything about Swifties (Taylor Swift’s tried and true fan-base), you’ll know that no matter what Swift hints at, the Swifties are first to jump on the news.

Earlier today, the official Taylor Swift website featured a countdown clock on a familiar sky-blue background with iconic white clouds. Yes, the Toy Story background was featured on Taylor Swift’s website.

The countdown was quickly removed; however, the 48-hour countdown would have an announcement set for May 2.

But what could this mean? Could she be announcing that she will have a single in the film? We know that Toy Story 5 is centered on Jessie, and with an iconic female singer like Swift, that could be the perfect match.

If you recall, back in 1999, singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan was featured in Toy Story 2 with “When She Loved Me”, which was also about Jessie.

Could Swift be announcing that she is voicing a new character in the film? This is a possibility, though we think an original song will most likely be the connection between Swift and Toy Story 5. I guess we’ll only have to wait a few more hours until the big reveal.
