Disney has announced some big changes for the popular Pixar attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT (Walt Disney World Resort). The short refurbishment will take place Nov. 10-13, 2025 and will include enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected now in 2D (elimating the current 3D screens on the attraction). In addition to the ride switching to 2D screens, new props and lighting will be added over the next several months to both the attraction and the queue.
Origninally opening in the France Pavillion of EPCOT on Oct. 1, 2021, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a mirror image of the attraction that opened in Walt Disney Studios Park at the Disneyland Paris Resort back in 2014.
As an avid Disney World guest, we can share our excitement for this change as the 3D graphics often looked blurred and left many guests nauseous. We’re hoping the Imagineers can rework their magic to create enhanced imagery similar to the screens on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway which immerse you in the attraction completely.
The original attraction Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy in Walt Disney Studios Park at the Disneyland Paris resort will also be undergoing the same transformation with the addition of a new scene in the queue that will feature a Parisian artist studio. No details on if the EPCOT version will get the same queue transformation.
