The nominations for the 16th annual Visual Effects Society Awards have been announced and Coco and Cars 3grabbed an impressive 7 nominations across four categories — 4 nominations for Coco and 3 for Cars 3.

The Visual Effects Society (VES) is the entertainment industry’s only organization representing the full breadth of visual effects practitioners including artists, technologists, model makers, educators, studio leaders, and producers in all areas of entertainment from film, television, commercials, and games.
