A short clip was released on the Disney Kids YouTube channel today featuring a spirited Jessie confronting the upstart iPad-like device, Lilypad.
Watch the 1:04 clip embedded below, or directly on Disney Kids YouTube channel. Although the entire clip isn’t new, it does highlight some of Joan Cusak’s updated vocal work. We also get a taste of Mr. Pricklepants’ new vocal actor, John Hopkins. We’re very thrilled to hear how close John sounds to Timothy Dalton (Pricklepants’ original vocal actor).
We also saw on Reddit how some folks noted that Joan’s vocal work sounds more tired, or more forced, than before. What do you think? Does Joan still bring the same Jessie energy to this clip that you expected? Or, could it be that this clip is not fully representative of the whole film?
