Pixar and Blue Apron have teamed up once again to bring a series of delicious dinners directly to your kitchen. This time, they have a series of Lightyear-inspired dishes with out-of-this-world names like, “Mission Control Turkey Meatloaf” and “Space Ranger Chicken Enchiladas.” We’d be lying if we were excited to taste these recipes.
Much like the two previous Pixar meals centered around the films Soul and Luca, you can expect the same high-quality ingredients and easy-to-prepare recipes delivered to your doorstep.
The official details from the Blue Apron blog highlight the four recipes below. Blue Apron notes that for these limited-time recipes, “Your mission is to bring everyone together in the kitchen, and Blue Apron is here to help.”
- Intergalactic Honey Mustard Chicken with Mashed Potatoes & Garlic-Parmesan Broccoli — Creamy mashed potatoes enriched with buttermilk are sure to be a favorite side dish for kids and adults alike.
- Mission Control Turkey Meatloaf Sandwiches with Roasted Green Beans & Date Ketchup — We’ve added even more flavor to this special meatloaf sandwich by preparing the baguette with fresh garlic and a dollop of ricotta.
- Space Ranger Chicken Enchiladas with Cilantro Sauce & Caramelized Onion — This hearty enchilada is tied together with a cilantro sauce that adds zesty herbaceous flavor. Topping with ancho chile paste brings pleasant heat without too much spice.
- Star Command Shrimp & Orzo with Vegetables & Almond Breadcrumbs — Our custom smoky spice blend and house-made romesco sauce bring sweet and smoky depth to this crowd-pleasing dish.
If you’ve never tried Blue Apron before, you should check out our post as we taste-test the Luca-inspired recipes.
