Get Ready for the ‘Coco’ In-Home Release (Feb 13) with this Collection of Deleted Scenes & Extended Clips

In preparations for the digital release of Coco tomorrow, February 13, (Blu-ray/DVD/4K release will be February 27) take a look at this massive collection of behind-the-scenes clips and deleted scenes to whet your appetite over the hours of footage you’ll be able to enjoy and learn from soon!

Interestingly, after revealing a few of the clips, people noted some negative thoughts about the deleted scenes — Lee Unkrich (Director) responded quite eloquently noting, “Those criticizing the Pixar Coco deleted scenes: there are many reasons they were cut! It’s all part of the process of honing and shaping a story. We thought we’d share the bumpy, messy path we often travel to arrive at a story that works.

We think this shows a lot of pride in the project and really displays that as much as we think Pixar produces really high-quality content, the films go through a lot of iterations and can be pretty rough at times.
