Monsters University is only a few short months away and the sneak peeks into Pixar’s latest feature film have just begun. This past week Animation Fascination shared a video look into the Monster world from the new Monsters Inc.Blu-Ray – which will be released on February 19, 2013. The short video clip features new Monsters University concept art and well as commentary from director Dan Scanlon.

After watching this clip, we are thrilled to hear that Pixarian Peter Sohn is lending his voice to the endearing character, Squishy.
The Monsters University concept art from the video shows Mike and Sulley in various stages of their relationship as well as an introduction to a new character. To see Pixar films and characters conceptualized through these early art renderings has always been a favorite of ours and from the looks of this art, we are in for a visual treat!
